Eccentric personalities and remarkable friendships have always been important within the world of Blue Blood. This season the brand was mainly inspired by 3 classic movies of Wes Anderson; The Royal Tennenbaums, A life Aquatic and The Darjeeling Limited. “In all of these movies two themes strongly take the lead: the bond between family and friends and extraordinary adventures in style” explains creative director Steve te Pas. We can strongly relate to “Andersons’ love for detail, uniforms and ‘worn-out’ luxury. Only after using something intensively it becomes clear whether it has quality, authenticity and personality; this goes for the suitcases, helicopters, trains and submarines in his movies, but also for our jeans”.
